		<description><![CDATA[Just as Higgs&#039; paper had been rejected by CERN, it seems to go unnoticed that the paper of the Indian physicist S.N. Bose, which led to the theory of Bosons, had also been turned down by the prestigious Zeitschrift für Physik until Einstein threw his own weight behind it when it was promptly accepted by the same journal.

So much for our widely adopted peer review process.  It also makes one wonder how many other such epoch-making discoveries may have been lost to the world because of the inability of the reviewers to comprehend their values.]]></description>
